RSS Subscribers – Getting People to Join Your Feed

It is really not so hard to drive traffic to any blog, but the real challenge comes with making them want to return. People are starving for information, and they want something they can sink their teeth into on a regular basis. When you’ve got loyal readers that keep coming back for more, you won’t have to go out searching for traffic. You have to take advantage wherever possible, and in this case do not overlook the power of RSS subscribers. We think so many web business bloggers just ignore the power of RSS, but that is all right because you do not have to be one of them.

Lots of people like subscribing to things through email, not RSS feeds. So, how do you take care of them?

The fact is, not many people know about RSS. This is why your feed needs to have an email subscription option too. Even though this may seem like a simple step, it will make a big difference in the long run. You can gain so many subscribers if you offer them email subscription as an option. That doesn’t mean, though, that you can stop teaching people about RSS. You should do this, definitely, but don’t ignore the power of email. One approach here is to do blog commenting, and we are not talking about doing it for backlinks. People do it for backlinks and traffic, although the main reason is for the backlinking value. Your approach here will not be the same as everybody else’s because you want to do this to promote subscriptions to your RSS. Rather than use a link to a regular site page, you will use instead the feed URL for your RSS. If you want to leave a nice looking URL, then you can check out Feedburner for that purpose. Did you ever consider or think you would find as much information on Private Blog Network as you have? If you think this is all there is, then that is not true at all which is only to your favor. But be careful about dismissing anything too fast if at first glance it seems like it does not apply to you. Eventually, you will discover that each little thing has its own part to play and contributes to the overall. It is hardly ever a good idea to maintain a closed mind about anything, and that has served us very well. So just keep going forward with the second part, and there will be more solid information that you can do some good things with.

So, if you think that you will not be able to remember it all, you can and we have confidence that it will gel with some helpful tips to follow.

Many blogs by default will show the RSS icon on all pages, but be sure to check that out just in case. However, if you want more of your readers to subscribe to your feed, then make sure you have it displayed on every page. Think about the fact that if you are going to have this resource, it is only smart to make it work for you. The more optins you get to your RSS feed, then people will keep reading your content which is what you want to see happen.

The large and loyal readership is something of which every blogger dreams. Finding and keeping readers loyal to you is much harder to do when you don’t ensure that they have an easy way of staying up to date on your blog. So when you use RSS, you can get quite a lot more from your blog by getting more readers for it. It may take a little while before you actually see your subscriber numbers go through the roof. When you work toward your goals a little bit every day, you will see that before too long, you will have gotten quite a large number of RSS subscribers finding their way toward your blog. Just make sure that your efforts are focused on getting as much as possible from your blog in terms of targeted exposure.
